Yesterday’s post was sort of an odd duck in terms of what you expect to find on the cover of Space Gamer. This is more like it  another installment in an endless series of paintings riffing on Dean Ellis and Chris Foss. I can stare at Ellis and Foss paintings forever. Most Space Gamer covers…aren’t up to that level. But there is a sort of beauty in their quantity. This one is by Robert Phillips.

Inside is mostly dedicated to wargames and stuff I have no frame of reference for. The most interesting thing for me is the review of RuneQuest, which is sort of amusingly flabbergasted by how unusual a game it is.
