September, 1982 my favorite Space Gamer cover, again by David Leslie Martin. Just look at it, soak up that super villain color palette. It fronts the main event, the two-player tactical board game Necromancer, which is the highlight of the issue. It is a pretty straight forward game (I cant help but wonder if the Cave Evil folks played it, because there is a hint of a shared vibe) that would graduate to a boxed version in 1983, also featuring the same sweet, sweet cover art.
