This ridiculous thing was the centerpiece of a holiday gift package Wizards of the Coast sent out in 2020 — a metal 20-sided die encrusted with red Swarovski crystals. I honestly didn’t know what to make of it then, and a couple years later, it is still a source of puzzlement. It’s pretty! It sparkles nicely in real life. But I mostly just keep it in the little bag it came in, lest something happen to it. Which also seems silly. What is the point of a die if not to roll it?
